Product Description
A brief bulleted description of the main themes students should look for during the course. SPICE (social, political, interactions between humans and environment, cultural, and economic) themes are based on the five main themes outlines in College Board's description of the course. Although the poster is designed around the A.P. World History curriculum, it would really work for any history course. The poster is suitable for enlargement up to 24X36.

** Note-the term "other" under social history is intentionally ambiguous to include a number of different ideas in a shortened space. I explain to students at the start of the year that "other" can refer to ethnicity/race/other human-constructed terms that create systems of superiority/inferiority. In addition, "other" refers to the "others" in history who are left out of traditional narratives (the illiterate, the peasants, workers, women, etc).
