APA Citations Sorting Activity → Editable files! Revised in July 2017! Now easier to cut out quickly!
Need something a little more engaging than a worksheet? This APA Citations sorting activity allows students to work in small groups to categorize dozens of source types, full-citations, and in-text citations. Designed for Honors 10th graders, this sorting activity will build confidence in your students as they work to master APA format skills. I’ve included a differentiation strategy for use with struggling readers and writers. My students enjoy this challenging “puzzle”—yours will, too.
This is an application/practice/review activity to be used after students have had some experience with APA citations.
COMING SOON: More hands-on APA format activities for your 9th and 10th graders! I have so much to share, and I can’t wait to get it all out there for you. Just follow my page to learn when my newest activities are posted.
