Product Description

I have found my AP class using Crash Course U.S. History less and less since the A.P. United States History redesign, but one of the best AP-aligned episodes is Crash Course #7 "Who Won the American Revolution?" which focuses heavily on the social effects on women, slaves, Native Americans, and religious freedom.

The easy to print/edit/share Google Doc package contains two steps to ensure success in the APUSH redesign which has heavily emphasized this content objective on recent AP redesign exams.

Step 1: Note Guide/Video Link - Students view Crash Course #7 (link embedded) and complete Social Effects of the Revolution notes in a two-thirds completed note guide on the political, social, and economic effects of the American Revolution - (if you use AMSCO - pages 90-94 cover these notes fairly well as a quick background)

Step 2: AP SAQ - Students complete a AP Short Answer Question (SAQ) on the Social Effects of the American Revolution - Question, style advice, and template provided

Overall, I have found this to be a very easy to teach and effective tool for successfully accomplishing this AP objective. Thanks, John Green!
