Product Description
Rationale: The second era of the AP US History Key Concepts is focused primarily on the differing colonial projects of the British and other colonizers. This project provides a hands-on opportunity for students to become expert in one British or French colony and then the opportunity to compare several others, as presented by their classmates.

In this project, students will create a high-quality, historically accurate advertisement to appeal to specific groups of prospective settlers, providing the opportunity to analyze each colony's unique characteristics. After students create their advertisements, the class uses them in a gallery walk which can then lead also to a comparative essay assignment. All student materials (aside from esaily written essay prompt) are included.
