Are you looking for a new way to encourage your young readers to score better on Accelerated Reader quizzes? This superhero sticker chart reward system may be just what you need. Little ones have a difficult time understanding points and average % correct. With this system, students may put a sticker on their chart each time they score an 80 or above on a quiz. There are 3 different charts for you to choose from. You can reward your students each time they fill up a row with stickers, OR for every 10 quizzes passed (a score of 80 or above). If your school sets 9 weeks, 6 weeks, or monthly goals for students, then set each student’s goal as a certain number of quizzes to pass (score of 80 or higher). For example: Susie’s AR goal for the 1st nine weeks is to make 80 or higher on 6 AR quizzes. If you have young students who are reading chapter books, then I would give 2 stickers for a one point book, 4 stickers for a two point book, etc.
I’ve included some printable rewards in this packet: crowns, reward tags/pencil toppers, and certificates.
