ARBITR is a fun social impact game designed to encourage peaceful resolutions to potentially inflammatory situations! Like ‘Apples to Apples’, but edgier. More like Cards “FOR” Humanity.

Players begin with a hand of 4 “Response” Cards (describing responses to ACTION cards). During each round one player serves as the “FOCUS Judge” and draws an “Action Card” that poses a potentially embarrassing or volatile situation to the other players. The Focus Judge also draws and shows a “FOCUS Card” explaining the method for how the winning RESPONSE cards will be judged. The other players then submit 1 of their Response Cards face-down and draws a new replacement. The Focus Judge reads each of the submitted cards and designates a winner for the round. The Focus card is given to the winner and Responses are placed in the discard pile. Go clockwise for next judge. First to collect 3 Focus Cards Wins!
10 PDFs include: 32 Action cards, 16 Focus cards, 48 Response cards, card backs for each card type, 1 instruction sheet.
My students really enjoy this game, will play the entire period, invent their own cards, modify the rules, even invite additional players by just reshuffling the discard pile. Expect future expansions!
