Nouns, Adjectives, and Verbs
Activity 1: Students will choose a card and determine if the word is a noun, adjective, or verb and then place it onto the correct mat.
Activity 2: Students choose a card and use the word correctly in a sentence. If used correctly, they may store it on their mat and choose a point value card. The player with the most points at the end of the game is the game winner.
Activity 3: Students determine if the underlined word is a noun, verb, or adjective. If answered correctly they may either sort on the mats or store on the individual mat.
Activity 4: One worksheet to target nouns and a worksheet to target adjectives.
