ATTENDANCE TRAIN for PHOTOS - Wagons with Numbers & Number Spellings 1-30
Make numbers and number spellings a fun part of each morning with this adorable attendance train!
Students sign in by placing their photo into the first available, numbered wagon, one per wagon. When everyone has arrived it's easy to see how many kids are present! At home time, the kids sign off by moving their photos off the train as if they're waiting to board. By doing this every day the children become familiar with the number line and the spelling of different numbers.
Place the attendance train along the bottom of the white or blackboard. Leave a little space above it for the kids to 'step off the train' when they go home. Use sticky paste to behind the photos if magnets don't work through two layers of paper (you can laminate the train but then the magnets probably won't work). Alternatively, you can cut out the windows in the wagons so that you can attach the photos with magnets!
Tip: Place your own photo in the locomotive to remind everyone whose in charge during school hours! If you don't want your photo moved around, you can insert it in PowerPoint before printing the train out. You can round the corners of your photo by clicking Crop to Shape and selecting the rectangular with round corners.
