* I was recently asked by our district AVID Coordinator to give permission for AVID to include these worksheets in their new book. This is a great honor. I don't mind sharing but I would lose all rights to my creation and turned her down.*
26 pages, 1 for each letter of the alphabet. Written in Cornell note style for Kindergarten. No Prep Needed! Print and go! Use in classroom to review the letter of the week. Students write their name, date (simplified for example 5-15-2015), color bubble letters at top completely, draw 4 pictures in each box that start with that letter, write the capital and lowercase several times on lines, write the letter in the summary section. As students finish and bring me their papers, they tell me each picture, I write the word under it. This requires them to recall what they drew and it tells me if they really know what starts with the focus letter. Towards end of school year, students write the words instead of me. Helps EO's and ELL's with oral vocabulary, phonics and fine motor skills.
Completed papers get an amazing sticker (changes weekly) and hung on AVID wall. I plan to draft more Cornell style worksheets for Kindergarten so check by with my store All of the Above.
