Here is my most recent installment of K Cornell Notes. Each worksheet focuses on one word family in Cornell Notes form. Perfect for any school wanting to be AVID certified. These are great evidence of AVID strategies in the K classroom. Keep completed examples to display for classroom walk-throughs. Our school is AVID certified and the entire K team uses my Cornell Notes.
Word families included in this set are an, at, it, op, ap, ot, in, ag, ig, un, ed, ad, am, ip and en. The 16th page includes a list of all word families as well as the words used. Directions and tips are also listed on this page.
These worksheets are ready to go, no prep work needed. Directions: Write name. Completely color word family (puffed letters). Color and cut out pictures at the bottom. Glue onto one of the squares and write the missing letters and trace the word family. Complete the Summary sentence with the word family. Teachers: Correct and display. :)
Out of the 90 word family words, six of them are 4 letter words that students will need help with such as stop and flag.
