Product Description
Eight experiments in one activity!

This lab activity will explore the effects of various abiotic (nonliving) factors on the growth of mung beans. Mung beans will grow in a matter of days under the right conditions. Each lab group will be assigned a different independent variable to expose their beans to. Over the course of a week, students will directly witness the effect their variable has on the growth of mung beans.

Another great part of this lab is the minimal use of time. The first day of setup takes about 15 minutes and each day of observation only takes about 10 minutes. This way you can continue through your curriculum as the lab progresses.

This activity requires minimal supplies and common household solutions.
