Dissociative Identity Disorder is known to most as Multiple Personality Disorder. This resource exposes students to this unique and mystifying disorder. Students watch classic footage of The Three Faces of Eve as well as Sybil, and complete doodle notes looking for symptoms and characteristics. Then, students do a small group carousel reading of a modern case of DID. The article comes with layered text questions for analysis of what the text says, how it says it, what it means, and why it matters. Groups in the carousel are divided by various ways such as color, number, letter, and shape.
All lessons include learning targets and essential questions, links to resources, printable copies, and directions and answer keys as appropriate.
