Product Description
This assignment will help students research a number of different Abolitionists from all different walks of life during the mid-1800's. Students will use hyperlinks for each of the featured Abolitionists that will take them to www.biography.com where they can see pictures, review personal information about each of them, read their biographical information, and even watch short video clips. Students will then fill out a graphic organizer including finding a picture, identifying where they have lived, explaining how each of them participated in the Abolitionist Movement, as well as analyzing their success. This could be used as a cooperative learning assignment in class or a take home project. Students can either print off and turn in or submit electronically if your school has that ability (I converted mine to Google Docs and use directly through Google Classroom).
