Product Description
An interactive presentation to introduce elementary students to Australian Aboriginal Art. Presented is an animated gif of contemporary samples of the art with a video of art movement. This is perfect for kinesthetic learners and provides a new way for students to look at fine art as entertaining because it integrates technology. This was developed by Tosh Fomby, owner of NuMedia Solutions, who often integrates her graphic design skills in teacher-created materials.

Also included is a video of an Australian Aboriginal creating art (from YouTube). Students get an opportunity to see the art-making process and can hear the music of the Aboriginal people. After introducing the lesson, there is an activity for students to practice what they have learned. Watching the video of the artist working as the students begin their creative process reinforces and encourages production and the quality of their work. This method has been used and works effectively regardless of grade level.
