PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This hands on all school elementary art project helps students to learn about symbolism in Aboriginal art. Included in the packet is a sheet with aboriginal symbols and meanings. The packet also includes templates and instructions for students to make circle art works that can be made into a collage or be glued to recycled object like paper towel tubes to make rain sticks. The circle arts can also be used to create a schooled collaborative art display. Patterning, symbolism, multiculturalism and repetition are some of the standards that can be taught with this lesson.

This lesson also includes templates for Aboriginal paintings: Koala, lizard, turtle, kangaroo & snake.
