Some Central Australian Aboriginal mobs organised their communities into skin group systems.
Skin Groups are Aboriginal Australian systems of organising clans of people to prevent inbreeding, to delegate responsibilities and to assign roles in cultural ceremonies.
This activity is a simulation of how Skin Groups work, helping pupils to understand the dynamics involved in this Aboriginal social structure.
