This download contains information slides on Aboriginal Seasons and sheet for students to complete. This links well with the Australian Curriculum HASS learning aspects.
Each Aboriginal group had their own seasons. Included in this package are:
♦Noongar (11 pages)
♦Yolngu (9 pages)
♦Miriwoong (6 pages)
♦Anangu Pitjantjarjara (8 pages)
No instructions on how to use this resource are included. Suggested uses would be to use the slides as a presentation and then have the summarise each season on their sheet after viewing each slide.
✩ I do not identify as an Indigenous Australian and I encourage you to use resources made by Indigenous Australians for the teaching of their culture wherever possible. All profits made by this resource will be donated to organisations and charity helping Indigenous Australian children.
