I created this for the 5th grade classes coming in to the computer lab the week of Lincoln's birthday. Teachers wanted a one-class-period exploration about Lincoln so this hyperlinked PDF document is designed to be used on a computer or iPad (perfect for Chromebooks). It's versatile—some use it as a stand alone exploration while others use it as the basis for research on a report about Lincoln.
More than 20 image and text links to outside websites are embedded in this document, so your students are just click away from primary source documents, additional research, videos, and more. This is a great general overview and a perfect jumping off point for in-depth discussions or research.
I’ve used this with my 4th and 5th grade students and my husband has used it with his high schoolers.
