I do not like that man. I should really get to know him."
This is one of my favorite quotes from Abraham Lincoln and it is great for the classroom. I reference this poster in my classroom several times throughout the year, but specifically at the beginning of the year when we are getting to know each other. We discuss what the phrase means and I have the students put it into their own words. Next, during our class discussion we talk about different ways to get to know someone. The quote is a great thought to remember.
