Abraham Lincoln Primary Source Letter Worksheet
This fantastic primary source letter was written by Abraham Lincoln in July, 1860 while in the middle of his campaign for the presidency. He writes to a friend of his son's who was recently rejected by Harvard University. In the letter, Lincoln encourages him to keep pursuing his education and succeed through hard work.
This is a great worksheet for high school students who are applying to colleges as they can surely sympathize with the letter's intent and take Lincoln's kind words to heart.
