Each day I record the date, lesson title, objective, agenda, and homework on the front board of my room. I then have an early finisher record this on the "absent summary form." I keep these sheets in the back of my room in a binder. When a student was absent I require them to check the binder before they come ask me what they missed. This helps them to have a basic understanding of what we did the day prior. I also keep worksheets in a file box in the back as well.
