This is the best Absolute Value War card game available on TpT.
This product is the best, because all the integer cards are available for you, in printable sheets. You don't have to purchase or alter real playing cards. You don't have to hope that kids remember if red means positive or red means negative, because each card is already marked as positive or negative. You don't have to remove the face cards, because I have altered them for you. The game doesn't get stale, because I have included several Joker cards with special integer & absolute value tasks. It doesn't get better than this!
Just print the cards, have the students cut along the dotted lines, display the included Rule sheet, and you're set!
Your kids will love it, and they will learn how to compare absolute values.
The basic rule of the game is easy. Draw 2 cards, just like in the regular game of war. Find the absolute value of each card. The winner is the player whose card has the greatest absolute value (distance from zero).
