Description

I began explicitly teaching my students academic vocabulary because I noticed that they struggled with completing some work tasks. Not knowing what to analyze, identify, convey meant kept them from understanding what was being asked. I introduce these words as they come up and refer to them often. They are always visible in the room

as a reference for students. This printable packet is designed to familiarize your students with some of the academic vocabulary terms they might encounter in text and work instructions. A lot of time went into creating these cards, and I hope you and your students find them helpful. Thank you for your purchase. Terms of use: For personal use only. Please do not sell or share this packet online. Do not upload it to your personal website, blog or file sharing account. You are welcome to share it with others by giving them the link to my TPT store. By the Letter Literacy Reading Lab™
