Description

These beautiful posters display 36 academic vocabulary words (and their student-friendly definitions!) traditionally found in academic text. These words are frequently used in higher-level questions (in all subject areas) and high-stakes testing situations.

Each of the 36 words come in 8.5” X 11” posters in three different designs (for every printing situation!). I’ve also included a completely editable version* of this resource to accommodate spelling changes for our friends overseas, and a blank editable template so you can create a matching poster for any additional words you may need. (Font used is Kimberly Geswain’s Be Still and Know, available for FREE on Teachers Pay Teachers).

*I’ve had several of our friends overseas ask for an editable version of these posters so they could change the spellings. I am happy to do so, however, please know that if you open the PowerPoint version of this resource included with your purchase BEFORE you download and install the FREE Kimberly Geswein Font Be Still and Know , it is going to look a little funny when you open the file. PowerPoint will supplement the missing font with something already installed on your computer.
