Academic Vocabulary Terms and Concepts Growing Mega Bundle

Front load the vocabulary and concepts your students will need for understanding ancient history, geography, natural disasters, dog sledding and piloting an aircraft. As educators we know that each academic subject and specialized topic has its own specific vocabulary which must be mastered before the student can fully comprehend the new material. To that end, I have paired the definitions, pronunciations, and example sentences with pictures. Often these illustrations are actual photos rather than cute clip art.

The History and Science presentations are in two modalities PowerPoint and PDF

- teacher notes are embedded in the PowerPoint Presentations

-The history and geography academic Vocabulary comes with posters, flashcards, worksheets and word searches. The answer keys are included. *Each of the history vocabulary products is included as part of an Ancient History Presentation Bundle.

-Each Natural Disaster Vocabulary Packet includes 1 presentation with the definition slides and 1 presentation with the quiz and self-correcting answer slides. There are also worksheets and a word search with an answer key.

The presentations on Amelia Earhart and Matthew Henson so far only have the definition slides in a power point format. An additional PDF presentation format will be included. The worksheets, flashcards, posters and word searches will also be included in the near future.

This product is in a PowerPoint Show, this enables the presenter to write on the slides during the presentation. When you right click on a slide a box with a set of tools will appear. These tools include: a highlighter, a pen, a pointer, and presentation notes. If you have a recent edition of Microsoft, you will be able to access the presenter’s notes on the slides. These notes give extra background information. To check this feature out, when you preview any of the presentations in this bundle, *move the presentation out of your down load folder and then right click on the slide and look for the presenter’s notes; if your software supports this feature, it will be available to you.
