This is a simplified Marzano approach to US History academic vocabulary specific to the US Constitution and the Constitutional Convention. The words were chosen for their direct relevance to the US Constitution as well as their relevance to an expanding vocabulary base for students in general. This set comes as a two page (one-page front and back) vocabulary assignment that can be used as classwork or homework with little direct instruction along with one page of notes to the teacher with suggestions on how best to use this assignment with students. Since definitions are provided, this assignment does not require extra material (computer, textbook etc.) but students could have the choice to use a reference if necessary. Since answers will vary, no answer key is provided although an example and non-example of a sentence using context clues is provided.
