One major struggle for Spanish students is accents. Are you sick of trying to teach your students words like "agudas" and "esdrújulas"? This innovative new method of teaching where accents go and why is the result of me trying to teach my heritage / native speakers of Spanish where accents go. This method is reminiscent of math problems - students have to follow all the directions and show all their work to get credit. This is the first document I use to teach accents - it contains the "notes" or the steps, some practice words, and a key. This works great with native/heritage speakers and could easily be used with traditional Spanish classes.
