Description

I grew up struggling with handwriting issues. I was diagnosed with dysgraphia (a handwriting issues). I was given a AlphaSmart to accommodate my needs, and I used it throughout college.

The AlphaSmart is great for students with handwriting issues or cognitive issues that would make a full computer difficult to use. This was another class presentation I did for a disability's awareness class.

I can also discuss my experience with dysgraphia with you or consult with your school.

Key Words: Disgraphia, handwriting issues, DANA, AlphaSmart, accommodations, typing, IEP, 504, special education, SPED, AT, assistive technology, adaptive technology, paraprofessional, wireless, portable keyboard.
