Conversations are a large part of the daily classroom environment. But, teaching children HOW to have these conversations and be accountable for them takes time and practice. This set of five mini-lessons provides teachers with a guided outline of how to introduce children to the concept of accountable talk, provides activities to engage students and give them ownership of their role in these conversations, and has matching anchor charts for classroom use.
