Product Description
This lab gives a short background on acid rain in the USA and is used to better understand how acid rain affects societies infrastructure. The lab uses acid on several building materials, including limestone, copper, PVC, etc., to show how materials can be corroded by acid rain. The other goals of the lab are for students to balance the chemical equations related to the acid/building material reactions and to critically think about the effects of acid rain on society.
