The ACORN calendar is an alternative calendar to the November TURKEY Calendar. It was brought to my attention that some schools are restricted from doing “HOLIDAY” crafts. With this in mind, I hope that the ACORN CALENDAR will be acceptable as a FALL project.
As both the ACORN and the TURKEY crafts are FUN to make, you could use one of them as a calendar and the other to display student writing. For example, if you use the ACORN to display a writing sample, the title could be: Going NUTS over writing!
I’ve provided 3 November calendars for you to choose from: A calendar with all numbers, a calendar with some numbers, and a calendar with very few numbers. My kids love making a Take-Home Calendar every month. Let me know if your kids enjoy it too!
There are 12 pages in the Acorn Calendar project.
