This is an absolutely hilarious way to learn the alphabet, spell out a student’s name,
take a brain break, get the wiggles out, or spell a word using an “active” code.
Because this resource covers such a wide variety of objectives, it is appropriate to use for a broad range of grades/ages. The activities could be seamlessly applied to the Pre-K through 3rd grade curriculum.
Each letter of the alphabet is pictured on a task card with a word or two that gives
a “command”. The first word in the command begins with the letter on the card.
Commands tell the student to do something. Some examples are:
B…..bark like a dog
If you don’t want to use task cards, a list of all letters and commands is provided.
Suggestions for uses in grades pre-k through grade 3 are included as well.
