Are you trying to find a way to teach your students how to ask questions?! When we explicitly teach students questioning techniques, we are preparing them to become active participants in their learning. We are strengthening their comprehension skills and helping them become critical thinkers.
This bundle has a fun approach to asking questions!
Each slide comes with a real world image (either nature themed or animal themed).
On the slide, there are a strip of question words. Each question word comes with a movement.
For example, the question word- 'who' might have the movement- 'front lunge' attached to it. This means when a slide is displayed and has this question word- the class will need to stand up and perform the movement and then think of a question beginning with this question word.
You might call on a student who would ask, "Who will the tiger play with after his meal?"
There are also blank slides with just an image that way you can decide which question word to copy and paste onto the image (all active questioning thumbnails are included in this bundle for you to easily copy and paste).
There are 15 nature landscapes and 15 animal background slides in this bundle.
There are 30 background images (absent of question words).
There is a set of active questioning thumbnails.
There is a large set of active questioning movements (if you'd like to introduce movements to your students before beginning the activity).
I will be recording this product in action as soon as I use it this fall! Have fun moving!
