These games are designed for students to practice using mental math and addition strategies to find pairs of numbers that equal 100.
One Hundred Top-It:
Students will work in groups of 2-4. They will flip over one of the numbered cards 1-99 and race to say the addend needed to make 100. The first person to say the addend needed to make 100, colors in that square. The person with the most colored squares on the chart wins. (There are many ways you can vary the directions to this game.)
(Includes 30 game cards)
Caller will turn over one of the 1-99 cards and announce the addend. Students will work individually to determine the addend needed to make 100. If they have that number on their card, they will use a BINGO marker to cover that space. Play continues until a player has 5 in a row or until the entire board is covered.
(Includes 16 pairs Two Versions Available- Color or B/W)
Students will match the cards to make sums that equal 100. To differentiate, students can match all 16 sets while face up, turn all cards face down and take turns flipping two cards, or reduce the number of pairs to play. (6 pairs are multiples of 5.)
