Product Description

This activity sheet, containing twenty exercises, focuses on the concept graphing a line from the slope-intercept form. All linear equations represent straight lines. So, this procedure finds the line by first

locating the y-intercept and then uses the slope to locate additional points on the straight line.

This activity sheet has several sets of exercises:

• One set asks the students to graph six equations that are already in slope-intercept form
• Another set first asks the students to re-write equations in slope-intercept form and then graph the line
• One set of matching three equations with their appropriate graphs.
• In the final set of problems students are given graphs and they must write the equation for the line in slope-intercept form.

Solutions for all exercises are included.
