Great Thanksgiving themed literacy center/Daily 5 activity where your students will select the ending sound of the word on the turkey card. Great for your readers and non-readers because turkey cards have the picture to match the word. This activity can be used for Kindergarten or 1st grade as it addresses standards in both grades. This is a great activity to be used as a literacy center or finished work activity. Print this activity on card stock, laminate for durability and have students find the ending sounds of words. Students can use a clothes pin or paper clip to choose the correct ending sound. Write the answer on the back of the card for self checking. This activity also comes with a worksheet. The worksheet is cut and paste where students have to cut and paste the ending sound next to each picture.
