Simply print, cut out, and laminate for a ready-to-go sort on acute, right, and obtuse angles. Students can begin by sorting angles in isolation (6 of each type for 18 total) and then in the context of 24 different shapes from triangles to octagons. There are two sets of shapes. The first set has an angle indicated for sorting. The second set of 24 shapes is identical to the first except no angles are indicated; this allows for more open-ended sorting and discussion. Students can indicate the angle they used to sort by marking it with a vis-a-vis or dry erase marker. Last, you'll find 9 worksheets for additional practice.
