Product Description

This is a great resource for helping students learn about how birds beaks have adapted in order to survive in their surroundings. All birds have one, but it has evolved differently in each species has evolved to improve its functions in response to its environment. These functions include feeding, defending themselves, mating, regulating their body temperature or building nests. The adaptations are very diverse and in some cases so specific that it is difficult to group them together.

Students will research the different types of bird beaks using a specific web site. Students will then fill in the chart questions. This is a great research and hands on learning tool.
