The Adaptation Creation Project allows students to use their knowledge of “animal adaptations” to design an animal that has never been discovered before. The students can create this animal out of the suggested materials below or draw it on paper. They are asked to describe its adaptations, habitat, diet and relationships with living and non-living things.
This packet is designed to provide teachers with ideas for incorporating science into their curriculum. By completing this packet students will use their imaginations, share prior knowledge, label science diagrams and answer higher order thinking questions.
