PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Adaptation Stations are simple to set up in your classroom for students to do. Station 1 uses plastic worms, chopsticks, forceps, and clothespins where students use utensils as bird beaks. Station 2 use plastic and candy gummy worms for students to see mimicry. Station 3 requires students to watch a short video about animal adaptations and answer a question about how cheetahs survive.Station 4 is an art activity where students make an animal out of construction paper and hide in the classroom. Station 5 is a reading comprehension sheet comparing mimicry and camouflage found at k12reader.com. Station 6 is a behavioral adaptation activity on migration and hibernation.
