Product Description

In this lesson plan, students will learn how animals adapt to different environments to increase their chances of survival. They will learn specifically how different birds have beaks suitable for their habitat. Students work in teams to mathematically model what might happen if a population of hummingbirds were relocated to an environment where they could only survive on nuts and seeds. Teams will analyze fictional data and conclude evidence for adaptations.
