Use this adapted recipe to help students practice following a recipe and a set of directions while making playdough! This recipe uses spices to make playdough in several different skin tone colors. Adapted recipes are a fun and interactive way to support many literacy and math skills, including measurement, fractions, identical and non-identical matching, and more! Visuals of recipe quantities, ingredients, and cooking materials are included to support learning.
We used our diversity playdough as a jumping off point to help us learn about kindness and tolerance. We also used this activity to help us talk about similarities and differences. How will you use your diversity dough?
Instructions on how to set up and use adapted recipes are included!
