Adaptive Paper - LETTER PRACTICE is a resource designed with many visual support options as children learn to write letters on handwriting paper. Available in 3 writing line letter sizes (1-inch, 3/4-inch, 1/2-inch), this resource is suitable for kids of all abilities and needs as it brings the writing lines to life.

Children who present with fine motor, visual motor, or motor planning issues may find this paper especially helpful as they are able to cognitively follow the cues for letter placement. They learn how to write upper case, tall, small, and fall letters. All paper is oriented in a landscape orientation so kids can focus more on forming letters and less on changing lines.

This vast handwriting pack offers many visual supports for children! These include the following:

1- Starting STARS: All upper case letters start at the top. So, the Starting STAR provides a visual cues for kids to know where to begin every upper case letter. Write a letter. A child copies you!

2- GRASS: As kids begin to write on paper, they must sit their letters on the writing line. A wide green line helps them master this skill. Plus, grass allows kids to visualize placing letters on a solid foundation. Letters sit on the grass, just as they do!

3- CLOUDS: Just as grass on the writing line offers kids something real to visualize, clouds are actual objects too. Using clouds along the top of the writing space helps kids reach tall letters to the top.

4- BROWN below: Placing the color brown in the lower part of the writing space allows children to imagine their fall letters stretching down into the ground. Draw worms or bugs to bring this idea to life!

5- YELLOW below: This bright highlight draws a child's attention to the area below the writing line. It is great for children who struggle with how to place and orient letters on the writing line. It especially helps children master the fall letters.
