Description
This assessment is based on the Common Core Standards for second grade. The assessment itself is two pages long. The entire product is five pages including an attractive title page, a standards reference page, and a scoring guide. Each standard on the reference page is color coded to match the standards listed on each question as well as the scoring guide at the end of the assessment. This assessment works best with the My Math series, but can be used in any second grade classroom. Once we finish an assessment, I put a copy in page protectors so students can take it out and review the skills throughout the rest of the school year.
The Adding Three-Digit Numbers assessment focuses on adding three-digit numbers, some with regrouping and some without regrouping. It also focuses on mentally adding numbers, composing and decomposing numbers, using various strategies to solve problems, and the relation of addition and subtraction.
If you like this assessment, check out my product "Common Core Math Assessments Entire Year Bundle." Every second grade math standard is covered.
