Add a Little Magic with Magic e!
This lesson reviews long vowel words with silent e through an interactive PowerPoint and interactive words booklet.
Once in slideshow mode, students will read the short vowel word first . Then as students take turns clicking the “magic e” bubble, a “magic e” wand will appear. At the same time, students will have their own personal “magic e” wand to place in their booklets. Once the new word (the long vowel word) is read, students write the silent e in the space in their booklets.
This is a great interactive, hands-on way for students to learn long vowel words with silent e.
