Product Description
I created this game to help my students practice sight word recognition, reading fluency, AND addition! The game has 15 pages of sight word sentences with 10 sentences per page. This game would make a great addition to your literacy or math center. It can also be sent home for extra practice or used during class with partners.

This game addresses the following Common Core Standards in Language Arts & Math for Kindergarten to Third Grade:

RF.K.1 & RF.1.1 Demonstrate understanding of the organization and basic features of print.
RF.K.3 & RF.1.3 Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.
F.K.4.Read emergent-reader texts with purpose and understanding.
K.OA.2. Solve addition and subtraction word problems, and add and subtract within 10, e.g., by using objects or drawings to represent the problem.
K.OA.5. Fluently add and subtract within 5.
RF.1.4.Read with sufficient accuracy and fluency to support comprehension. Read grade-level text with purpose and understanding. Use context to confirm or self-correct word recognition and understanding, rereading as necessary.
1.OA.6. Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10.
2.OA.2. Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies.2 By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.
RF.2.3. & RF 3.3 Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words. Recognize and read grade-appropriate irregularly spelled words.
RF.2.4. & RF 3.3 Read with sufficient accuracy and fluency to support comprehension Read grade-level text with purpose and understanding.
