Add the e or Let it Be focuses on the CVCe rule. There are 20 cards to practice with. Each card includes a picture with a word. The student must decide if the picture shown matches the correct word. If it doesn't, the student uses the "e" to change the word to match the picture. If it does match, the student uses the check mark to show that he/she should "let it be." It is showing that adding the e changes the vowel sound from short to long. Like pin to pine, or man to mane. There are 3 stars and 3 checkmarks to cut out. I cut them and glued them to popsicle sticks so they could manipulate each word.
Includes directions, 3 stars and 3 checkmarks to cut out, 20 words and the answer key.
