This is a great math game to use with your whole math group, or even in math centers.
*Basic Addition facts (1-9)
*Game board (Just print, and play!)
*Counters or chips as markers
*Students should each have a different colored chips so they can distinguish their
markers from each other.
*Player 1 takes their chip and chooses an addend below.
*The second player chooses an addend, and then adds the two numbers together.
He/She then places a counter on a square that has the sum of the two addends.
*Now Player 1 must use the last addend chosen by player 2, but then move their chip
below to a new addend. Player 1 will then add those two numbers, and place a
counter on the square above that is the sum of the two numbers.
*Play continues like this until someone has 3 in a row on the game board.
