This template has helped many of my special education students! To save paper, laminate the page or put it in a page-protector and have students use a dry erase marker. Many of my students benefit from this organized format and can easily see the ones to add, and the tens to add. The box in the tens section is used for any number that you may need to carry over. I often use this sheet as warm-up in the beginning of the period, and make it available in the classroom for students whenever they are working independently. For extra assistance, encourage students to use touch points when adding!
