Adding 9’s can be tricky! This game for 2-4 players makes practicing this essential skill easy and fun. Students move along the zoo board by solving equations from 9 + 0 to 9 + 9. Each card has 1 - 3 problems to solve. Each correct answer moves the player forward 1 space and allows them to “take a picture” of the animal in that enclosure (collect a picture card). Luck and skill combine to determine how many pictures a student can take on their trip through the zoo. Students can check each others work on the sum chart and an optional recording sheet is included. Print out the zoo kids place markers, or use your own.
